The Railings Caravan Park is within easy reach of Bridlington and the surrounding area, which has many attractions for the visiting tourist, just a few of which are highlighted below :-

Sewerby Park

The lovely gardens of Sewerby Park extend some 50 acres and offer magnificent views over Bridlington bay. The gardens are a skilful blend of art and nature, with formal walks, terraces and contrasting woodland.

At the heart of the park is Sewerby Hall. The Hall was built 1714-1720 by John Greame. Bow wings and a portico were added in 1808-1811. Later additions include an Orangery and dining room.

Golf

Also within easy walking distance of the park is Bridlington Links Golf Club. The par 72 course offers spectacular holes along the cliff tops and Danes Dyke and is a challenge to all levels of golfer.

Beaches

Bridlington offers some of the best beaches in the country. whether it is the mile upon mile of golden sands of the south beach, or the more rugged scenic north beach, stretching all the way to Flamborough at low tide, Bridlington’s beaches have something for everyone.

Walks

Whether it is the famous Wolds Way or the equally beautiful Sewerby to Danes Dyke Circular, there are walks to suit every taste and ability. If you do not want to take your car out, don’t worry as there are at least half a dozen walks within easy reach of The Railings.
